The Role
The cGMP Facility & Equipment Manager will embody WiCell’s culture of quality while ensuring the optimal functioning, safety, and compliance of WiCell’s physical infrastructure and equipment. This manager will oversee the procurement, installation, and ongoing maintenance of all equipment, while managing the facility access, environmental controls and security protocols. The cGMP Facility & Equipment Manager plays a pivotal role by serving as a liaison with the building management, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs and providing exceptional operational support to WiCell staff.
Key responsibilities
- Managing & monitoring equipment: procurement, installation and calibration/maintenance of all equipment and acts as primary critical equipment monitor alarm responder
- Overseeing inventory: coordinating stockroom inventory for all vendor supplies used by staff
- Perform Equipment Qualification: writing and executing IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols, executing qualification of test scripts and re-qualification assessments
- Serve as WiCell’s Safety Officer: manage WiCell’s safety documents and standard operating procedures, conduct staff training
- Ensure Compliance: Workplace and Laboratory safety requirements, implementation of emergency plans
- Controlling facility access: Assessing and providing appropriate level of security access
- Supporting WiCell’s quality management system: current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Testing Laboratory, non-GMP Testing Laboratory and non-GMP Production Laboratory
