Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in various schools in Brooklyn, New York. As a Math Coach for Eureka Math and State Exam Preparation, you will provide support to teachers and students to enhance their understanding of mathematics. Responsibilities include designing and implementing math coaching sessions, aiding in curriculum development, supporting preparation for state exams, and delivering professional development workshops. You will collaborate closely with educators and school administrators to improve instructional strategies and student outcomes in mathematics.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mathematics, including expertise in concepts relevant to middle school levels and state exam standards.
- Strong skills in Coaching and Mathematics Education to guide teachers and students effectively.
- Experience in Curriculum Development and applying Eureka Math methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse groups of students, teachers, and administrators.
- Proven experience in teaching, coaching, or tutoring in a math-focused context.
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Education, or a related field; advanced degree in a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with math standards and testing frameworks is a significant advantage.
Salary Range:
• $37.50 – $68.50/hour, based on experience
