We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Senior HVAC And Plumbing Engineer to become a part of our team of about 20 people! You will be required to perform a variety of engineering tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase operation efficiency.Responsibilities:Oversee and assist in the design of HVAC and Plumbing systems for commercial constructionProvide mechanical calculations, specifications, and other documents for HVAC and Plumbing constructionCoordinate and Collaborate with architects, building owners, other consulting engineers, contractors, commissioning agents, and other members or design and construction teamsDevelop and present schematic design proposals, Revit models, budget estimates, fee proposals, etc.Provide construction administration tasks, including responding to RFI's, preparing ASI's, proposal requests, submittal reviews, and jobsite observations​Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical EngineeringEIT / FE exam and P.E. or path to PE3 years of experience in mechanical engineering for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or related fields in commercial construction. Compensation will be commensurate with relevant experience.Familiarity with the industry and associated systems, equipment, design standards, criteria, etc.Strong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to prioritize and multitaskStrong communication skills for project management with both internal and external design and construction team membersCompany DescriptionWe are a small to mid-size Mechanical Engineering firm that specializes in mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing design for commercial construction, including new construction, renovations, etc.
Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
