Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Intern will support the Talent Acquisition team with day-to-day recruiting activities while gaining hands-on experience in corporate recruiting. This internship provides exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, maintaining recruiting systems, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. The intern will partner with recruiters and hiring managers while developing foundational recruiting and HR skills.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruiting for internships, temporary, and entry-level positions.
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, university career sites, and other recruiting platforms.
- Review resumes and assist with identifying qualified candidates for open positions
- Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support candidate communications throughout the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Assist with employment verifications, background checks, assessments, and onboarding activities as needed.
- Participate in career fairs, university recruiting events, and other talent attraction initiatives.
- Help build talent pipelines for future hiring needs through networking and sourcing activities.
- Assist with recruiting reports, metrics, and administrative projects.
- Research recruiting trends and provide ideas to improve sourcing strategies and employer branding.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on special projects and process improvements.
- Represent the company professionally and help promote our employer brand to prospective candidates.

What You Need
- Strong interest in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or Recruiting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable learning new technology and recruiting platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong customer service mindset with a passion for creating a positive candidate experience.
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
- Rising junior, senior, or graduate student preferred.
- Previous customer service, leadership, campus involvement, or internship experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience with LinkedIn, Handshake, or Applicant Tracking Systems is helpful but not required.
