Housekeeper/Laundry
Duties:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities in a hotel setting
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies
- Perform laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and guest clothing
- Operate washing machines and dryers, ensuring proper use of cleaning agents
- Sort, organize, and deliver clean linens to designated areas
- Assist with inventory control of cleaning supplies and linens
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds)
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
