As a member of our engineering team, you will tackle challenging problems of scale, reliability, and security while delivering a delightful, simple user experience to a global user base. Your code will reach over a million users, often within your first few weeks. You can join the front-end team to build and improve our mobile and web platforms, or the backend team to build and improve the backend services that power all Whova products. You will be paired with a senior engineer and ramp through structured onboarding, so you can grow quickly and contribute with confidence.

Job Responsibilities
- Build scalable front-end applications to support the growing needs of the business.
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
- Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation, and performing code reviews.
- Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate them into pragmatic and effective technical solutions.
- Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
Job Qualifications
- A solid foundation in how computer systems work.
- Comfortable writing Python, or eager to learn it.
- Exposure to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies.
- A good understanding of data structures and algorithms, and an interest in applying them to design pragmatic solutions.
- You find satisfaction in a job well done and enjoy solving head-scratching challenges.
- Ambitious and constantly striving for personal growth and development.
