Outside Sales Representative
**$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS**
We are currently looking for an outside commercial tire sales representative in our Martinsburg location. As an outside commercial sales rep you are responsible for growing sales in a defined territory. Your responsibilities are to learn our product lines, call on existing customers, and generate new business.
Job Requirements:
- Maintain existing business and establish prospective business through value driven customer specific product and service recommendations;
- Manage Heavy Truck, OTR, Agricultural, and Light Truck customer base in given area;
- Utilize our internal software to build customer profiles, submit orders, and quote customers;
- Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations;
- Monitor local competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, and delivery and service capabilities;
- Ethically meet and exceed sales and profitability expectations;
- Always represent yourself and company professionally as well as maintain a professional appearance;
- Willingness to assist with various duties outside of normal functions such as inventory counts, occasional deliveries, store coverage, etc.;
- Work closely and as a team player with store, distribution, and office support personnel;
- Perform a variety of manual tasks which may include light and heavy lifting of commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, sitting and squatting;
- Self-schedule and manage time appropriately;
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company supported products and services to provide accurate information to customers;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and negotiation skills;
- Excellent organizational skills as well as attention to detail;
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to self-start;
- Ability to prospect new business, form an action plan, and successfully execute it;

Qualifications:
- 3 years of progressive sales experience in a related field required;
- Driver's License & clean driving record required;
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Related Field preferred.

Physical Demands:
This role requires you to sit, walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Exert 10-20 pounds of force occasionally.
