Job Summary
The Office Assistant provides essential administrative and customer service support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role requires a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual with strong organizational and communication skills. This role requires at least one year of cabinetry industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general office administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed.
- Greet and assist customers and guests visiting the office.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints in a professional manner.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of cabinetry industry experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Familiarity with sales order process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of personal accountability and professional responsibility.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with design software (e.g., 20/20) is a plus.
- Fluent in English/Spanish or English/Mandarin.
