Summary
The Clinic Director leads a Whole Woman’s Health (WWH) clinic, ensuring alignment with WWH mission and vision, operational excellence, financial sustainability, and the highest standards of patient care. The Clinic Director is responsible for all clinic activities, including staffing, supervision, systems development and review, running patient services, maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies, and collaborating with clinic Medical Director and providers. The Clinic Director will work closely with the Services Leadership team, advocacy staff, and other clinics managed by Whole Woman’s Health.
The Clinic Director serves as both an internal leader and external representative to advance WWH’s mission. A Clinic Director must be respectful, empathetic, and able to maintain a commitment to patient-centered care. They must demonstrate strong interest and dedication in the field of reproductive health and must be able to inspire others to do good work.
Essential functions:
Leadership & Communication
- Champion WWH’s mission, vision, and values across clinic operations and community engagement.
- Provide direction and maintain open communication with staff, providers, and patients.
- Monitor and uphold high standards of patient care, ensuring adherence to WWH protocols, NAF policies, and state regulations.
- Oversee provider scheduling, onboarding, and support in collaboration with the Services Leadership team.
- Review clinic performance regularly with Clinic Leadership and the Services Leadership Team, recommending improvements for efficiency, patient flow, and staff development.

Clinic & Staff Management
- Supervise clinic staff and provide coaching, training, and evaluation.
- Participate in recruitment, hiring, and orientation of staff, ensuring alignment with WWH culture and standards.
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, including abortion and gynecology sessions, and promote efficiency for patient session flow.
- Manage patient schedule template to meet or exceed WWH benchmarks for availability and service excellence.
- Handle and debrief emergency or critical incidents, ensuring staff preparedness.
- Communicate each day’s “vital signs” to the Services Leadership Team.
- Maintain expertise in WWH policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Foster a professional, supportive, and accountable workplace culture.
- Supervise clinic staff, including scheduling and payroll submission.
- Maintain physical plant and equipment to ensure WWH facility aesthetics and standards.
Administration & Practice Management
- Monitor clinic performance data, trends, and reporting; recommend process and system improvements.
- Participate in creation of annual clinic budget and work with Leadership to review and address monthly Budget vs Actuals.
- Oversee supply ordering and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
- Partner with billing team to support accurate and timely reimbursement, support efficient revenue cycle management.
- Maintain accurate records for staff and provider files.
External Relations & Advocacy
- Build and maintain relationships with abortion funds, reproductive justice organizations, and allied providers.
- Lead strategic outreach and marketing efforts to grow visibility and strengthen referral networks.
- Support grant writing and reporting efforts in collaboration with the development team.
- Collaborate with Advocacy and Development teams as needed to host community education and engagement events (e.g. Abortion 101 workshops and clinic tours).
- Liaise with Universities and Research institutions that have formal relationships with our clinics.
Experience and General Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or RN/LPN license preferred.
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in reproductive healthcare, public health, or related field.
- Demonstrated success managing teams, budgets, and healthcare operations.
- Strong leadership skills with diplomacy, integrity, humility, and courage.
- Knowledge of healthcare practice management, billing, revenue cycle management and compliance (Medicaid and commercial insurance).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately% of time.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
Required Continuing Education/Training:
- Basic Life Support (biannual certification).
- OSHA and PPE training (annual).
- HIPAA compliance training.
Physical Requirements
- Must possess the ability and capability to perform any task in the office.
- Must have excellent visual and hearing acuity.

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
