Whole Pet Veterinary Hospital Davidson is a small, privately owned animal hospital specializing in exceptional patient and client care. We integrate natural and holistic medicine with traditional medicine and surgery to offer the most complete range of choices for pets and their people. Our services include pet acupuncture, spinal manipulation, and herbal medicine, as well as holistic nutrition, homeopathy, and laser therapy.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, obtaining a history and recording medical record entries, venipuncture/IVC placement, lab analysis (fecal, UA, basic cytology), using in-house lab equipment, EKG and blood pressure, taking radiographs, administer medications PO/SQ/IM/IV, performing phlebotomy in presence of the owner, and anesthetic monitoring and surgical assisting.
Due to the fast pace of our hospital, a minimum of 1 year of experience in the veterinary field is REQUIRED. No experience is needed in holistic or alternative veterinary medicine.
Job Type: Full-time.
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m-6 p.m.
Typical shift: 10 hour days four days a week.
Pay range: $17-20/hour for assistants. $20 for licensed technicians. Pay is based off of experience. There is room to grow within the company!
