Professional Dog Groomer for Whole Pet in Bentonville
Whole Pet Bentonville is looking to add an experienced professional dog groomer to our awesome team! This position will start the beginning of December (maybe sooner) due to a grooming team member leaving to have a baby. Our Bentonville location is booked out for several months, and we are looking for the right person to join our team.
We provide and maintain all grooming equipment and supplies (including sharpening).
Pay is based on 50% commission cash tips (W2 employee). Whole Pet offers health, dental, and vision insurance that is offered after 30 days of employment. Whole Pet pays 50% of your health insurance premium!

As a Whole Pet Professional Groomer You Will ...
- Groom and style dogs to a professional standard: de-mat and de-shed, bathe and brush, clip and scissor, trim nails, clean ears and teeth, and express anal glands as needed externally
- Contribute to our exceptional customer experience
- Converse with our customers to build relationships. You will ask questions to learn exactly what they want and expect for their dogs and then exceed their expectations
- Take notes on customer expectations and maintain vaccination records
- Ensure the wellness and safety of our beloved furry patrons at all times
Ideal Whole Pet Professional Groomer candidates will ....
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have 2 years professional grooming experience (you must be able to groom all dog breeds, shapes, and sizes). DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ONLY WASH/GROOM YOUR OWN DOGS AT HOME OR WANT TO BECOME A GROOMER.
- Have the ability to move, lift and handle dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments
- Be able to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time
- Be available to work Saturdays
- Have a strong work ethic and be reliable
- Have your own reliable transportation to and from work
- Have good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Take pride in the quality and efficiency of your work
- Be willing to consistently and accurately follow company policies and procedures
