What you’ll do
- Provide direct patient care by taking vital signs, performing intake assessments, and assisting with examinations.
- Administer medications and support procedures in the outpatient setting.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient service and effective communication.
- Maintain knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support clinical assessments and patient education.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coding using ICD standards.
- Engage with patients to provide compassionate care while addressing their needs in a timely manner.
- Oversee and administer advanced treatments in the clinic including transcranial magnetic stimulation and esketamine therapy.
Experience
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:
- A strong foundation in medical terminology and experience in hospital medicine or urgent care settings.
- Proficiency with EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) protocols to ensure patient safety during emergencies.
- Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with geriatrics, internal medicine, medical-surgical practices, and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) environments is a plus.
- Previous clinic experience that showcases your ability to handle diverse patient populations effectively.
