What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver – Meaningful Work with Consistent Clients position at Whole Life Senior Care - Waterford, MI?
Some people see caregiving as just another job.
Others see it as a responsibility — showing up consistently for someone who depends on you.
At Whole Life Senior Care, we look for the second type.
We provide thoughtful, relationship-based in-home care to seniors who want to remain independent in their homes. Our caregivers are not rotating shift-fillers — they are trusted, consistent presences in our clients’ lives.
Because of that, dependability and character matter just as much as experience.
Our Current Scheduling Needs
Our client base is growing quickly, and we are especially looking for caregivers interested in:
- Afternoon and evening shifts
- Late evening hours (not overnight)
- Weekend availability
We also have opportunities across morning and daytime hours as our schedules continue to expand.
Caregivers who are open to evenings and weekends will have the most opportunity to build steady, recurring hours.
What Makes Our Team Different
Many agencies treat caregivers like interchangeable staff.
We do not.
At Whole Life Senior Care we prioritize:
✔ Intentional caregiver-client matching
✔ Consistent schedules whenever possible
✔ Clear expectations and communication
✔ Leadership that is accessible and supportive
✔ Respect for caregivers as professionals
Our caregivers often tell us they appreciate the structure and thoughtfulness we bring to the work.
