Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Therapist is a dedicated licensed clinician practicing in the WFHC Fort Pierce location. As a vital member of our organization, the role will have the opportunity to make meaningful impact on the lives of clients through the provision of high-quality outpatient mental health counseling and therapeutic services. The Behavioral Health department serves clients ages 6 and older.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services in accordance with best practices, to referred clients seeking counseling for a wide range of emotional and behavioral health concerns.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current State of Florida Licensure as Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LCSW or equivalent)
- Master’s degree in counseling or related field.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Level 2 background clearance and required immunizations (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, PPD).
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $70,000 - $73,000
