We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. Duties
- Collaborate with chiropractors and other LMBTs to ensure comprehensive patient care within a wellness-based chiropractic office.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions.
- Provide various types of massage therapy, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, PNF stretching, and instrument assisted manual therapy tailored to each client's requirements.
- Utilize knowledge of physiology and pain management techniques to address specific issues and promote healing.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring client satisfaction throughout their experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and provide the best possible service.
Experience
- Must be a currently licensed massage and bodywork therapist in NC and carry massage therapy liability insurance.
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or med spa environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
- Must be skilled in trigger point therapy and PNF stretching.
- Experience with cupping and instrument assisted myofascial technique is a plus.
- Must be familiar with chiropractic philosophy.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans.
- Previous experience in customer service roles is an advantage.
