Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive development, creativity, and physical activity
- Help with classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and outdoor play
- Observe and document children’s progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones for assessment purposes
- Foster inclusive learning by working effectively with children with diverse needs
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and behavior management strategies is pereferred
- Experience working with individuals with special needs or disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
- Ability to manage classroom activities confidently while maintaining a positive environment
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is desirable but not mandatory
