- Manage comprehensive inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, demand planning, and cycle counting to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Oversee warehouse distribution activities, ensuring efficient storage, materials handling, and order fulfillment while adhering to safety standards.
- Lead procurement and sourcing initiatives by negotiating contracts with suppliers, analyzing pricing strategies, and optimizing procurement workflows.
- Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 and warehouse management systems to monitor inventory data, perform root cause analysis for discrepancies, and implement process improvements.
- Conduct data mining and analytics using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and other tools to visualize supply chain metrics, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, logistics, and finance to align inventory strategies with business goals.
- Coordinate shipping & receiving activities, including heavy lifting operations with forklift certification when necessary, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Strong expertise in supply chain management principles with a focus on warehouse distribution and inventory control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., AS400), warehouse management systems, SQL databases, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with experience in contracts management and supplier relationship building.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to perform root cause analysis, financial modeling, demand planning, and supply chain analytics.
- Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred.
- Knowledge of logistics operations including 3PL providers, shipping & receiving protocols, and order fulfillment processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
