Duties
- Prepare doughs, batters, and pastry fillings according to established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and pastry tools safely and efficiently
- Bake a variety of baked goods for morning/breakfast including croissant, muffins, quick bread, scones, and more with precision and consistency
- Set up morning pastry stand and cookie showcase carefully to preserve freshness and presentation for sale
- Assist with food handling tasks such as measuring ingredients, portioning doughs, and preparing ingredients for production
- Follow recipe instructions meticulously to ensure product consistency in high-volume production settings
- Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Genuine interest in food production, baking, or pastry preparation
- Previous food handling or baking experience is not necessary yet a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and following recipes precisely
- Ability to follow the recipe and instruction to produce multiple items within assigned time frame
- High level of motivation, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently during early morning shifts
