Duties
- Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain pristine lawns and gardens
- Use hand tools and power tools for landscape installation, pruning, planting, and general maintenance tasks
- Perform landscape maintenance activities including edging, mulching, fertilizing, and weed control
- Assist with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting trees safely and effectively
- Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure optimal watering of landscapes
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe
- Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and minor repairs to ensure safety and efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience with lawn care is required.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining various power tools and landscaping equipment
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques including hardscape installation and horticulture practices is advantageous
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
- Knowledge of construction or excavator operation is beneficial for site preparation projects
