WHKS is expanding and is actively hiring a Civil Engineer to join its team in Fargo, ND.
In this role, you will design and support municipal infrastructure projects including utilities, drainage, roadways, and site development.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering projects and communicate with clients to understand needs, maintain relationships, and support contract development
- Prepare roadway and infrastructure construction documents, including cross sections, traffic control plans, stormwater and drainage design, and right-of-way plans
- Complete engineering design calculations and layouts, such as grading plans, utility layouts, quantity calculations, and subdivision design
- Develop 3D models using Bentley CONNECT or Civil 3D software
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- North Dakota and/or Minnesota P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 7 years of civil engineering in municipal or transportation design

Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- municipal or civil engineering: 7 years (Preferred)
- AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley CONNECT: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Fargo, ND 58103 (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Fargo, ND 58103: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
