Job Title: Python Developer with Apache Flink

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong Apache Flink expertise to design, develop, and optimize real-time stream processing applications for enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable streaming solutions using Apache Flink as the primary technology, along with strong Python development skills. This role involves developing high-performance, event-driven data pipelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver real-time analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable real-time data processing applications using Apache Flink.
- Build and optimize streaming data pipelines using Python.
- Develop event-driven applications capable of processing high-volume, low-latency data streams.
- Integrate Flink applications with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka and other distributed systems.
- Optimize Flink jobs for performance, scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.
- Develop reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to support streaming applications.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver business-critical streaming solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD deployment activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for streaming applications and workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of software development experience.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Apache Flink (Required).
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience building real-time stream processing applications using Apache Flink.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, or other big data technologies is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
