This position is perfect for someone who would love creating and managing large, national-level events as well as smaller in-person and virtual events.
If You Are…
- Passionate about creating great event experiences – for the customers attending our events and for our partners,
- Detail-oriented and very organized with fantastic follow-up and impeccable follow-through,
- Someone who loves to create connections and build strong relationships, with integrity, generosity, and caring,
- An excellent communicator with first-rate written and verbal skills,
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using Microsoft programs, Google Workplace, and a variety of other digital platforms and programs,
- Looking for a team that’s fun to work with and collaborate with,
- Physically able to lift, carry, and schlep boxes o’ stuff,
- Always willing to pitch in and get $*%!@T# done!
And Would Love To…
- Come up with ideas to deliver awesome customer experiences at our conferences, events, and private meetings,
- Plan and manage events – large, medium, and small; in-house, off-site, and virtual – then analyze event success and report to company leadership
- Connect with our VIP clients and create environments where they can create bonded relationships and grow personally and professionally,
- Own the event budget – plan and manage expenses, develop and engage sponsors,
- Represent the core values of our company as you source venues, negotiate contracts, and coordinate logistics with event vendors
- Handle on-site event set up, coordinate flow during the event, delegate effectively, and stay calm as you solve the inevitable spur-of-the-moment problems.
- Travel occasionally to events in the US, Canada, and other countries,
- Bottom Line… create great experiences and events that deliver a positive impact for our customers, our sponsors, our vendors, and our team members!
