Job Description:
Client is seeking an experienced and motivated Facilities Manager to oversee facility operations, equipment, and infrastructure within a high-volume manufacturing environment. The Manager will be responsible for managing plant systems, maintenance programs, and capital projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong engineering background, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in managing facility operations and teams.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment supporting facility operations, equipment, and infrastructure
- Strong understanding of facility systems, maintenance programs, and plant operations
- Experience in managing equipment installations and preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and plumbing drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and vendors
- Strong project management skills including handling budgets, timelines, and compliance
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant experience in facilities and manufacturing operations
Technical Requirements:
- Experience managing facility infrastructure and plant systems
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Experience with blueprint reading (electrical, mechanical, plumbing)
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Experience with vendor management and project execution
Nice to Have:
- Experience in plastics manufacturing or injection molding environments
- Familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
- Experience with safety programs, fire protection systems, or emergency response training

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
