Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS)
- Manage overnight front desk operations, including handling reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries via phone and in person
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, posting charges, and balancing accounts
- Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or emergencies following hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and safety
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, controlling access points, and reporting any suspicious activity during the night shift
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure smooth handovers and operational continuity
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and facility issues efficiently
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with experience in hotel front desk operations and night audit procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and effective phone etiquette
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist diverse guest populations
- Proficiency with hotel reservation systems and property management systems (PMS) for seamless operations
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices to handle sensitive situations professionally
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for resolving customer service issues swiftly and effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members both verbally and in writing across multiple channels including phone communication
