School Food Delivery Driver - Help Fuel Young Minds!

What You'll Do:
- Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver food and supplies between schools in the district
- Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper storage and delivery
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate logs and reports
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in excellent working condition
- Communicate with the central office as needed to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
- Follow all local driving laws and school district policies

Pay Rate: $19/hour
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education
- High school diploma or equivalentrequired;must complete allWhitsonsand government-mandated training asrequired.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience required; food service or delivery driving experience preferred.
Certifications
- Clean, valid, and unblemished driver's licenserequiredat all times;
- ServSafecertificationpreferred.
Other Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English sufficient to understand route instructions, complete required logs and reports, and communicate with school and office staff.
- Mustadhere to all motor vehicle laws and regulations at all times; always presents a professional image and follows allWhitsonspolicies and procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER DETAILS
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position.Hours are aligned with the school district's food service delivery schedule.Occasional extended hours or weekend work may berequired.
Physical Demands of the Job
The Team Memberis required tosit while driving and stand and walk when loading, unloading, and at delivery sites. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsfrequently, including while turning side to side.Exposure toextreme temperatures when accessing storerooms and freezers. Specific vision abilitiesrequiredinclude close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work Environment
This positionoperatesprimarily in and around a company vehicle, with regular presence at school loading docks, storerooms, and freezer areas. Environmental conditions include varying temperatures and moderate to loud noise levels.
