Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the unit, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting
- Collaborate with the Assisted Living Director to ensure the smooth transition of residents between levels of care
- Provide leadership and guidance to the unit's caregivers and support staff
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure the highest quality of care and service
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and implement evidence-based practices to continuously improve outcomes
- Manage and resolve conflicts in a fair and compassionate manner
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
- Minimum 0 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Current licensure in the state of Rhode Island as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical and leadership skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
