The Dietary Aide will be responsible for essential duties including the reheating and serving of food trays to the patient units; working tray line; serving employees and patients in the dining room, and other general cleaning tasks within the Dietary Department.
Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide:
- Collaborate in the preparation of special meals and events, including pot washing and restocking.
- Handle food and equipment responsibly according to sanitation policies and procedures
- Skillfully deliver and collect meal trays with precision and attention to detail.
- Provide an enhanced dining service, serving meals in dining rooms and preparing and delivering snacks as directed.
- Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Adhere to sanitary regulations and uphold our established policies and procedures in food preparation.
- Requirements of the Dietary Aide:
- High School Diploma/GED Required.
- Previous food service aide experience is helpful.
- Ability to follow diet lists, portion food as specified and serve food in an appetizing manner.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
