Position Summary
The Dietary Aide will be responsible for essential duties including the reheating and serving of food trays to the patient units; working tray line; serving employees and patients in the dining room, and other general cleaning tasks within the Dietary Department.
Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide:
Collaborate in the preparation of special meals and events, including pot washing and restocking.
Handle food and equipment responsibly according to sanitation policies and procedures
Skillfully deliver and collect meal trays with precision and attention to detail.
Provide an enhanced dining service, serving meals in dining rooms and preparing and delivering snacks as directed.
Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Adhere to sanitary regulations and uphold our established policies and procedures in food preparation.
Requirements of the Dietary Aide:
High School Diploma/GED Required.
Previous food service aide experience is helpful.
Ability to follow diet lists, portion food as specified and serve food in an appetizing manner.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
