As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), You Will
- Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately
- Educate residents, families, and staff as appropriate
- Promote safe swallowing practices and effective communication strategies
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
- Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
