Treatment Nurse (RN / LVN)

The treatment / wound care nurse moves around daily dressing changes and skin assessments. You will manage prescribed skin protocols on shift while coordinating treatments alongside floor nurses and attending physicians.

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay Rate: Starting at $35/hr, scaling upward with experience
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (8AM - 5PM) On-Call rotation

Responsibilities

• Perform daily wound care, dressing changes, and topical treatments according to physician orders.
• Complete skin assessments for new admissions and document weekly wound progress.
• Clean and restock treatment carts before and after treatment rounds.
• Coordinate directly with floor nurses to schedule dressing changes around resident meal times.
• Update care plans and treatment sheets following physician rounds.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Texas RN or LVN license in good standing
• Prior wound care or long-term care treatment experience preferred
• Active CPR / BLS certification
• Must pass a standard criminal background check
• Must pass a drug screening
• Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
