Role Description
Whitney Commercial Real Estate is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate is a driven and relationship-focused professional with a proven ability to generate business, manage client relationships, and successfully execute commercial real estate transactions.
This position is suited for an established broker who is comfortable handling leasing and investment sales transactions, developing new business opportunities, and contributing to the continued growth of the firm. Candidates should possess strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with property owners, investors, tenants, and business leaders
- Prospect and secure new listings, tenant representation assignments, and investment opportunities
- Represent clients in lease negotiations, acquisitions, dispositions, and site selection assignments
- Analyze market conditions, comparable properties, and financial information
- Prepare proposals, broker opinions of value, marketing packages, and transaction documents
- Conduct property tours and client presentations
- Collaborate with brokerage team members on business development opportunities and transactions
- Maintain strong knowledge of local market trends and inventory
- Provide exceptional client service throughout the transaction process
- Participate in networking, industry associations, and community involvement activities
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina real estate license
- Minimum of 3–5 years of commercial brokerage experience preferred
- Proven track record of completed transactions and business development success
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of active business
- Professional reputation and strong relationship-building skills
- CCIM designation or active CCIM candidacy is highly desirable
- Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Business Apps, and commercial real estate platforms
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
