The Rehab Specialist will provide therapeutic support in the home and community for a man recovering from a brain injury. Excellent opportunity for a student interested in PT/OT/SLP/med or nursing school. Work on a team of active and engaging individuals. Experience neuro-recovery first hand and be a part of all aspects of life including outings and opportunities to travel.
The position we are seeking to fill is part-time (14-28 hrs per week) and 1-2 overnight sleep shifts per week. It is a great job for a student's schedule!

Job Description
Guides and assists clients 1:1 with a specific plan of care developed by a multi-disciplinary team
Fosters independence in life skills, personal/self-care and activities of daily living
Teaches/models behavior management strategies and communication skills
Assists clients in improving their quality of life through community activities
Provides consistency and continuity of care to achieve client goals
Skills & Knowledge:
Pursuing an associate’s, bachelor’s or graduate degree in health care or social services
Experience working with, or spending time around individuals with intellectual, developmental and/or physical disabilities preferred
Openness to provide care for people with differing backgrounds and beliefs
Willingness to undergo background checks
Demonstrates ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
