What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Copywriter position at Whitman Associates, Inc.?
Financial services group seeks a temporary-to-permanent Senior Copywriter to support internal programs and portfolios through research and writing. This role is slated to begin on December 1st, 2026, and starts off at 10-15 hours per week before it becomes a full-time role once permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and edit product briefs and written program agendas for conferences and seminars.
- Schedule calls with industry leaders and collaborate with the production team to discuss events and program content.
- Put together deliverables and provide project management support by establishing deadlines and updating project statuses.
- Perform research to identify and analyze market trends.
- Write website copy in support of market research.
Qualifications:
- Strong communicator with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with technical subject matter.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines effectively in a fast-paced working environment.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Highly proactive with excellent prioritization skills.
- Positive, professional attitude and able to collaborate effectively with senior leadership.
- Excellent computer and software skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and generative AI.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Ability to travel onsite to events and work flexible hours as needed.
Rate: $30 an hour while temping.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 once permanent.
