- EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Understanding of Whitlam Group Recycling Program (in-house training)
3. Understanding of proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals (in-house training).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To maintain a clean and safe working environment. Perform all duties and functional responsibilities.
- DUTIES AND FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Empty trash (which may weigh up to 75 lbs.) in all Manufacturing Areas and maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
- Handle materials, tools and equipment with proper care and respect.
- Lift boxes that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Sweep, mop, and spot clean floors, walls, etc. in Manufacturing areas in accordance with outlined procedures and time schedules.
- Empty Recycle bins in plant and office areas.
- Empty paper shredder.
- Maintain Recycle gaylord area and notify supervisor when pick up is required.
- Sweep/Clean-up around employee entrances.
- Empty Rag cans daily per outlined procedures.
- Comply with all pertinent departmental and company policies, procedures and instructions.
