Activities Driver

Whiting Community School District is currently seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals to join our transportation team for the upcoming school year.

We are looking to fill the following positions:

• Activity Bus Drivers

• Activity Vehicle Drivers (9-passenger Suburbans and 12-passenger vans)

These positions play a vital role in supporting our students by providing safe and timely transportation to and from the West Monona Community School District (approximately 15 minutes from Whiting) for a variety of school activities.

Position Details:

• Daytime and afternoon/early evening opportunities available

• Flexible hours based on activity schedules

• Great opportunity to stay involved with school programs and students

Responsibilities include:

• Safely transporting students in accordance with all state and district guidelines

• Maintaining a positive and orderly environment during travel

• Conducting basic vehicle checks before and after trips

• Communicating effectively with students and staff

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL required for bus drivers, not suburban or van drivers)

• Strong commitment to student safety

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to pass required background checks
