What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Substitute Technolgoy Teacher - Grade 4-7 position at Whitin Intermediate School?
The Uxbridge Public Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Technology Teacher to join our
team as a Long-term Substitute. This position would be for the first half of the school year, concluding on
December 23rd. The ideal candidate will foster a positive classroom environment, deliver engaging,
standards-based instruction, and support the academic and social-emotional development of students in
upper elementary grades. The candidate shall possess strong collaboration skills as well as strong
technology integration skills.
Essential responsibilities for this position include:
○ Develop and implement lesson plans using evidence-based practices.
○ Collaborate with special education teachers, counselors, and support staff to provide inclusive
educational experiences.
○ Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate documentation.
○ Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and parent conferences.
○ Create a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.
Job Requirements
● A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred.
● Citizenship, residency or work visa required
● Valid MA Elementary Teaching Certification required
● SEI Endorsement required
● Prior experience preferred
Salary : $232 - $290
