Position Overview
We’re seeking a motivated Sales & Project Manager who can wear two hats: driving new business while managing signage projects from start to finish. If you know your way around construction documents, enjoy building relationships, and thrive on keeping projects moving smoothly, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and client relationship management.
- Consult with clients to understand signage needs, provide solutions, and prepare proposals/quotes.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, building plans, and site surveys for accurate placement and compliance.
- Collaborate with design, fabrication, and installation teams to manage timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Obtain permits and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and job files.
- Identify upselling opportunities and nurture long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, project management, or account management within signage, construction, or related industries.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of permitting processes, building codes, and sign installation requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Background in signage, architectural products, or construction-related industries.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability in changing project conditions.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
