What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server Assistant/Busser position at Whitey's Fish camp?
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Clear, clean, and reset guest tables in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room, service stations, patios, and restrooms as assigned
- Refill water glasses and assist with non-alcoholic beverage service when permitted
- Assist servers with food delivery to guest tables
- Transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to kitchen or dishwashing area
- Maintain adequate stock of service items including napkins, utensils, condiments, and ice
- Sweep, mop, and remove trash from designated areas if needed
- Follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines in compliance with Florida Department of Health standards
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
A Server Assistant/Busser should possess the following Qualifications & Experience
- No prior experience required; previous restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Must comply with all company policies and applicable local, state, and federal laws
