Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, and lensometry
- Take patient medical histories and document findings in electronic health records
- Educate patients on eye care procedures and post-operative care
- Assist ophthalmologists with minor surgical procedures
- Maintain equipment and supplies in the clinic
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
This is a Part-Time role (under 30 hours per week) with hours varying within the times and days listed below:
Monday 7:30am-12:00pm (occasional full days on Monday until 4:30pm)
Tuesday 7:30am-4:30pm (occasional 1/2 days)
Wednesday 7:30am-4:30pm
Thursday 7:30am-12:00pm
Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
- Travel between Greenfield, IN, Greensburg, IN & Batesville, IN is required.
