Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience while providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage and process cash and credit card payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours.
Skills
- Experience with POS systems for processing transactions seamlessly.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty and satisfaction.
- Prior food service experience in fine dining or casual restaurant settings.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales totals, tips, and change processing.
- Experience with beverage recipe development to create innovative drinks that excite guests.
- Strong communication skills for working collaboratively within a hospitality team dedicated to delivering top-tier service.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings (late nights), weekends, and holidays.
- Must meet all legal requirements to serve alcohol.
