Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and organized Site Supervisor. In this role, you will be the primary site based supervisor. Your main focus will be maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Site Supervision: Oversee all daily activities on-site, accept and unload various deliveries, actively police safety, perform various quality control punch tasks assigned by the project manager or superintendent.
- Safety Enforcement: Enforce OSHA and local safety regulations and immediately address any site hazards.
- Quality Control: Read and interpret architectural blueprints and engineering blueprints to ensure all work meets exact specifications and quality standards set forth by the project manager.
- Progress Tracking: Daily site logs are required as part of this position.
- Resource Management: Coordinate the delivery, storage, and inventory of construction materials and heavy machinery to prevent project delays.
- Problem Solving: Resolve unexpected on-site issues, disputes, or conflicts quickly to keep the project moving forward.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a foreman, team lead, or supervisor in the construction industry.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, blueprints, and materials.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities, clear verbal communication, conflict-resolution skills, and excellent time management.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long period
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
