- Continue monitoring conditions during active events and modify the operational plan when needed

- Communicate event timing, route assignments, service expectations, and changing conditions to the crew
- Maintain routine communication with ownership, employees, and customers as authorized
- Help ensure operators report for assigned events and complete their routes

The position begins October 15 with pre-season route planning, equipment preparation, site familiarization, and employee training.
Reliable winter availability is required from November 1 through March 15. Hours will vary significantly depending on weather. Operations may occur overnight, early in the morning, on weekends, or on holidays, sometimes with limited advance notice.
This position may be compatible with other employment or responsibilities, provided they do not prevent the employee from meeting the agreed winter availability and response requirements.
Compensation
Compensation depends on experience and includes:
- Guaranteed monthly management stipend for routine remote operational responsibilities and seasonal availability
- Additional hourly pay for scheduled training, equipment preparation, property inspections, field supervision, plowing, de-icing, skid-steer operation, and other assigned fieldwork
- Overtime paid when applicable
The monthly management stipend covers routine remote responsibilities such as weather monitoring, route planning and adjustments, crew coordination, operational calls and texts, and service follow-up. These routine remote duties are not paid again as separate hourly work.
