What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Dentist position at Whitehouse Family Dental?
Associate Dentist – Take Your Career Beyond General Dentistry
Northwest Ohio | Full-Time | Partnership Opportunity
You’re a skilled general dentist. You can diagnose with confidence, treatment plan effectively, and provide excellent restorative care. But you’re ready for something more.
We’re searching for an experienced associate dentist (minimum two years of clinical experience) who wants to become more than just another production-focused provider. We’re looking for someone who is committed to continual growth, values clinical excellence, and wants to be mentored by experienced dentists who are actively expanding their own skill sets.
What Makes This Opportunity Different?
This isn’t a practice where you’ll be confined to hygiene checks and basic restorative dentistry while referring everything else out.
Our doctors are transitioning into increasingly advanced procedures, creating an exceptional opportunity for an associate to assume a significant portion of our existing restorative workload while simultaneously developing advanced clinical skills.
You will routinely perform:
- Comprehensive treatment planning
- Composite restorations
- Same-day CAD/CAM crowns
- Root canal therapy
- Surgical extractions
- Single-tooth implant treatment from extraction through final restoration
If you aren’t currently comfortable performing every procedure listed above, that’s perfectly acceptable. What matters most is your willingness to learn. We expect our associate to pursue the continuing education necessary to become proficient in these procedures, and you’ll receive mentorship from experienced doctors who perform them every day.
We believe dentists should continue growing throughout their careers—not plateau after graduation.
How We Practice
Our philosophy is simple: provide exceptional care while respecting our patients’ time.
We utilize:
- Block scheduling for maximum efficiency
- Comprehensive treatment planning
- Fewer, well-organized appointments
- Modern technology, including same-day CAD/CAM dentistry
- A collaborative team approach
Our goal is to minimize unnecessary visits while maximizing patient outcomes and creating an enjoyable, productive schedule for our clinical team.
Who We’re Looking For
You are:
- A licensed dentist with at least two years of clinical experience
- Proficient in comprehensive general dentistry
- Comfortable diagnosing and presenting treatment
- Growth-minded and coachable
- Passionate about continuing education
- A team player who values culture as much as clinical excellence
- Looking for a long-term professional home—not simply your next job
Mentorship That Matters
Our practice is led by two experienced doctors who have built a reputation for clinical excellence and lifelong learning. Rather than competing with an associate for procedures, our goal is to help you expand your capabilities and confidence.
If you’ve been looking for a place where experienced mentors genuinely invest in your success, this is that opportunity.
Long-Term Opportunity
For the right individual, this position offers far more than employment.
Associates who demonstrate outstanding clinical care, embrace our culture, and consistently put patients first will have the opportunity to pursue equity ownership within the practice.
We’re not simply hiring an associate—we’re looking for someone who wants to help shape the future of the practice.
