We are looking to hire a general mechanic at Whitehorse Truck & Trailer. Willing to train for parts of the job, pay dependent on experience. We are a growing trailer dealership specializing in in-shop and travel service and repairs.
```About The Job```
- Applicant must have the following:
- General knowledge of electrical wiring & diagnostic equipment
- Basic welding skills
- Basic fabrication skills
- Personal tools are not required
- Hours vary by day, flexibility is required within work hours
- In shop work & team road service
- Part time OR full time available
- Paid time off
```About You:```
- Must be able to work with others and display problem solving skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must enjoy a fast paced work environment
- Good communication skills & attention to detail is a must
- Must adhere to company safety policies
- Able to lift 75lbs
- High school diploma preferred
- Completion of an apprenticeship is advantageous
- Must sign a non-compete
- Demonstrates experience inspecting vehicles / trailers for faults and repairs
- Must be reliable and a self-starter
