Duties
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support residents with medication administration
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with disabilities
- Assist with activities that promote physical activity and cognitive engagement tailored to each individual’s needs
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or home care environments preferred but not needed.
- Background in caring for individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus but not needed
