Housekeeping Supervisor

The Pine Lodge located near downtown Whitefish, is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for assisting in day-to-day housekeeping operations including but not limited to assisting the manager with training, scheduling of short- and long-term cleaning projects, ordering, inspecting public areas, managing lost & found, and providing outstanding customer service.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning and inspecting guest rooms.
• Assisting in counseling employees.
• Resolving guest complaints.
• General office duties
• Maintain strong relationships with team members.
• Inspect public areas.
• Help manage Lost & Found.
• Assist other departments when needed.
• Reports necessary maintenance issues.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Order supplies
• Follows company policies and procedures and other duties as assigned by Manager or Director.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management or supervisory position in a related field is an asset.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is plus

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
• Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 30 lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 30 lbs. and frequently lifting and/or move up to 30 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
