What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Utility Worker position at Whited Truck Center?
Outside Utility Worker
Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Maintain cleanliness of all outdoor areas including parking lots, walkways, and entrances.
- Collect and properly dispose of trash and recycling from exterior bins and designated areas.
- Perform snow removal duties, including plowing, shoveling, sanding, and salting walkways and driveways.
- Operate equipment such as snow plows, leaf blowers, lawn mowers, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
- Perform minor outdoor repairs and maintenance as needed (e.g., signage, fences, outdoor fixtures).
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, raking, and seasonal cleanup.
- Monitor outdoor areas for hazards and report maintenance or safety issues promptly. Support facility operations as needed during seasonal changes or special projects.
This is a full time position we are looking to fill immediately!
