Our client is seeking a Licensing Specialist to support regulatory and licensure initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to play a key part in managing licensing filings, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and communicating with state regulators. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable navigating complex regulatory requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Job Function

• Conduct legal research and compile clear, organized documentation of findings.
• Identify licensure filing needs and accurately document all associated filing requirements.
• Create and maintain task entries in the Teams Channel for each assigned filing.
• Partner with the Project Manager (PM) throughout the full lifecycle of each project.
• Collaborate with the PM to establish timelines for all required licensure filings.
• Participate in regular project meetings, as well as ad hoc discussions as needed.
• Prepare filing materials as appropriate.
• Provide consistent and timely status updates.
• Communicate with state regulators as needed.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Prior experience with the NAIC Uniform Certificate of Authority Application and related subsections.
• Proficiency in conducting research using State Insurance Department websites and statutes.
• Strong organizational skills, with effective written and verbal communication abilities.
