Our client is seeking a Family Office Accountant to join their growing team in NY. This is an exciting opportunity with a rapidly expanding firm that recently acquired a major family office client. The role offers a dynamic mix of client accounting across technology, venture capital, private equity, and high-net-worth family clients. The firm provides a balanced workload with reasonable hours, and accountants who handle tax work for their clients are additionally compensated with overtime pay along with base salary and bonus. This position offers a hybrid schedule.
Job Function
Manage accounts payable and Bill Pay for ultra-high-net-worth families using QuickBooks Online.
Support asset acquisitions and dispositions, including private equity investments, real estate, art, vehicles, and other luxury assets.
Oversee household payroll and ensure accurate, timely processing.
Prepare and review monthly expense reports, cash flow statements, and projections.
Maintain and organize financial documents and personal financial statements.
Job Requirements
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
4–10 years of total accounting experience, with 2–7 years in a relevant role.
