Our client is seeking a Family Office Accountant to join their growing team in NY. This is an exciting opportunity with a rapidly expanding firm that recently acquired a major family office client. The role offers a dynamic mix of client accounting across technology, venture capital, private equity, and high-net-worth family clients. The firm provides a balanced workload with reasonable hours, and accountants who handle tax work for their clients are additionally compensated with overtime pay along with base salary and bonus. This position offers a hybrid schedule.

Job Function

• Manage accounts payable and Bill Pay for ultra-high-net-worth families using QuickBooks Online.
• Support asset acquisitions and dispositions, including private equity investments, real estate, art, vehicles, and other luxury assets.
• Oversee household payroll and ensure accurate, timely processing.
• Prepare and review monthly expense reports, cash flow statements, and projections.
• Maintain and organize financial documents and personal financial statements.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 4–10 years of total accounting experience, with 2–7 years in a relevant role.
