Audit Senior - Full-Service CPA Firm

A CPA firm that has been in business for over 35 years is seeking a Senior Auditor. They have an Audit, Tax, and Outsourced Accounting Group that have established clients in the Financial Services (Broker-Dealer) and non-Financial Services space. This role offers exposure to a variety of industries and the opportunity to take ownership of client engagements. The firm promotes work-life balance and provides a clear path for advancement.

Job Function

• Stay current on accounting standards, reporting regulations, and industry developments.
• Review audit procedures, primarily for financial services clients.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff while overseeing daily operations.
• Review financial statements and disclosures for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies and professional guidelines.
• Identify audit and risk management issues and collaborate with quality review teams.
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of prior work experience in public accounting
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
• Knowledge of SEC and PCAOB reporting rules.
• Knowledge of hedge fund and broker-dealer industry preferred.
